Introducing Marissa.

As a passionate and dedicated dancer, Marissa is an unstoppable force of rhythm and movement who graduated from Rider University, cum laude, in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance and a Minor in English Writing. Throughout her collegiate journey, she immersed herself in the art of dance, honing her skills, and exploring various dance forms and techniques.

Marissa's dance journey commenced long before she stepped into the halls of academia. Raised in the Lower Hudson Valley outside of NYC, no wonder she had a love for the performing arts. From her earliest memories, she found solace, expression, and unyielding joy in movement. Marissa is the ultimate dance chameleon—ballet, jazz, hip-hop, theatre dance, contemporary, tap; you name it, and she effortlessly glides through it, infusing each step with her signature flair and infectious enthusiasm.

In addition to performing in her high school and college dance showcases, she is also an emerging choreographer having choreographed for the Rider Dance Ensemble, while being a member of the Rider Dance Team. Marissa is a true motivator, inspiring classmates and friends to discover the rhythm within themselves. She believes that dance is not just about the steps but also about the shared moments, the laughter, and the freedom found in movement.
